Using world renowned Tasmanian Bull Kelp
( Durvillea Potatorum ), Natrakelp has been manufacturing Liquid
SEAWEED products for plants and animals from its Queensland,
Australia premises for the past 14 years. |
 |
The company has developed a modern process of effectively liquefying
and fermenting the whole kelp to provide one of the worlds richest
sources of pure minerals and micro-nutrients. The process maximises
the absorption of the high nutrient and growth support components
of the kelp when applied to plants and animals.
|
|
|
To verify the results of this unique process, Natrakelp has over several
years supported University Research. The results showed that by using Liquid
SEAWEED for Plants, plant production increases averaged 27% on 18
closely monitored and replicated trials over a variety of crops.
|
Natrakelps N.P.K's with
a base of 65% Natrakelp Liquid Seaweed
for Plants with a range of N.P.K formulations (Nitrogen, Phosphorous,
Potassium) plus chelated trace elements to boost health, vigour and
yeild of crops.
A more recent innovation is the Natrakelp
Liquid Seaweed Soil Wetter. Originally intended for the turf
industry, it is finding acceptance in intensive cropping situations for
its water retention, non-burning,
soil and plant health improvement qualities.
|
|
Over the years Natrakelp has worked to develop a close relationship with the
agricultural community. By providing a highly qualified and motivated network of agents
and distributors, the company can extend the University Research work into the field by
offering innovative and sustainable agricultural advice direct to the farmer. This
arrangement allows both the customer and Natrakelp to grow together and
pursue continuous production improvement.
|
 |
The Natrakelp range of products provides an excellent opportunity for
exploiting the export market. Shipments have already been sent to Malaysia, New Caledonia,
Japan and Mexico and a number of trials are currently underway in the USA.
|
In this era of new opportunity Natrakelp sees the future of farming must
make clever use of all the worlds resources - particularly those which can be taken
from the sea and put back on the land with enhanced results.
